Finally, for listings with strict cancellation conditions, cancellations made within 48 hours after booking – and at least 14 days before check-in – will result in a full refund. Customers also have an option to cancel their reservation up to seven days before their planned check-in date to get a 50 percent refund of the one-night stay rate as well as the cleaning fee. There are no refunds available for the cost of the service.

Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning initiative

Airbnb has come up with a  five-step enhanced cleaning process that is now available to all guests. This policy was developed in consultation with former US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and in accordance with recommendations from public health organizations such as the World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.  This cleaning policy will no doubt make a safer environment for the guests by preventing the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
